Our Beliefs

Our Preaching and Teaching are from the Bible
--Old and New Testaments--

We agree with the Restoration Movement statement:
"Where the Bible speaks we speak, and where the Bible is silent we are silent."

Concerning This Body Of Believers

We believe the Bible to be the inspired and authoritative Word of God. We believe it to be inerrant in it's original revelation and protected by God through the centuries so all who believe and submit to its message can be at peace with God through Jesus Christ. (2 Peter 1:20–21; 2 Timothy 3 14–17; Acts 16: 25–34).

We accept the Bible's claims that God exists, He is holy and just, that He created all things, is sovereign over all things, and will judge all people. (Hebrews 11:3 & 61 Peter 1:14–17).

We profess that Jesus is God incarnate, the Christ, the Son of the Living God. He lived a sinless life of service to God. Jesus became the sufficient sacrifice for the sins of all people. Thus, He died upon the cross, was buried and raised to life on the third day. (Matthew 1: 18–251 Corinthians 15: 3–4Mark 10:451 Peter 2:21–25).

We follow the commission given of Jesus Christ as recorded in Matthew 28:18–20, "Then Jesus came to them and said, 'All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age'".

Winning to Jesus ~ Growing In Jesus

Salvation from the guilt of sin is secured by:

(1) Jesus Christ, the Son of God, died to secure our salvation and was raised to offer salvation to all who would faithfully receive it. This is the Grace of God. (Hebrews 2:9Titus 3:4-7John 1:12-13Matthew 16:16).

(2) Accepting that we all have sinned, we need forgiveness from God to be at peace with him and be restored into His blessing. (Romans 3:235:1–2).

(3) Believing the message about Jesus Christ's death, burial and resurrection. Thus, we accept the Gospel about entrance into God's Kingdom through Christ's sacrifice upon the cross. Only through that sacrifice can one be pronounced forgiven and come under the saving grace of God. (Romans 5:6–10; 1 Corinthians 15 :1–4; 1 Peter 2:24Hebrews 9:27–28).

(4) Confessing by word and deed that Jesus is the Christ the Son of the Living God, who has given His life for us, has been raised to be Lord , will return to take and present those who have believed in Him before God holy and blameless. Each person must call upon the Lord to be saved.  There is no other name under heaven by which man can be saved.  (Matthew 16:16Acts 2:21Acts 4:12Romans 10:13Acts 22:161 Thessalonians 4:13–18Colossians 1:21–22).

(5) Responding to God's message of salvation in full faith by turning (repenting) to Jesus as the Lord of your life and following His example of life and service. (Luke 24:46–47Acts 3:191 Peter 3:15Ephesians 5:1–21 Corinthians 11:1).

(6) Being baptized (immersed) in water to receive the forgiveness of sins and the gift of the Holy Spirit. (Mark 16:15–16Acts 2:36–41Acts 22:16Romans 6:1–7Galatians 3:26–29Colossians 2:11–12Titus 3:5–71 Peter 3:21).

(7) Continued submission to the authority of the Lord Jesus Christ. (Galatians 2:202 Corinthians 5:6-10Colossians 3:15-17Hebrews 10:19-39).
